Alex Luta

East Asia Lead Analyst

Alex, having lived for 6 years in Tokyo, leads our analysis work in the East Asian theatre. He has worked since 2008 continuously at the nexus of climate and energy policy, in private consulting, academia, and the advocacy sector. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Occidental College in economics and in international relations, and a Master's degree from the University of Helsinki in World Politics. Outside of work Alex enjoys cooking spicy food, obscure languages, astrophysics, and archeology.
