Calvin Nesbitt

Research Engineer

Calvin is a research engineer at TransitionZero with a background in climate science. His focus at TZ is on modelling renewable technologies and automating energy systems modelling. He is interested in using a mixture of scientific modelling and data engineering to shape a clean energy future. He recently completed a PhD from the University of Reading on tipping points and critical transitions in the earth system. Previously he interned at the UK MET office looking at the effects of extreme heat on public health, and completed an MRes in the Mathematics of Planet Earth at Imperial College London.
